Tiff's Treats Open First Waco, Texas Store with Grand Opening Celebration on August 25th
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) August 20, 2018 -- Tiff’s Treats, the Austin-based company that created the warm cookie delivery concept, is excited to announce the grand opening of its first Waco, TX store. This is the first store serving the Baylor University community and the 41st store for the company. Located near the university at 720 5th Street #112, the Waco store will open its doors on Saturday, August 25th with a celebratory kick off from 9am to 3pm.
For opening day, Tiff’s Treats is proud to partner with Baylor CARE (Clinic for Assessment, Research and Education). Baylor CARE provides low-cost, research based assessment and interventions to children with cognitive and developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. All sales from the first day (up to $5,000) will go directly toward providing scholarships for therapy fees for families in need.
To celebrate opening day, the first 40 people in line at 9am will be given a $100 Tiff’s Treats gift card. All others in line at 9am will get a $10 gift card (must be 18 or older). As an opening day perk, customers will be able to purchase a dozen cookies for only $5 (no call ahead orders) and up to as many as five one-dozen boxes per person filled with one of Tiff’s Treats most irresistible flavors: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle or oatmeal raisin. Everyone who attends the opening day celebration will also have a chance to win free cookies for a year!
Customers are encouraged to bring new unwrapped children’s books to donate to the Baylor CARE program. Everyone that contributes will get a $5 Tiff's Treats Gift Card.
“We are thrilled to expand our presence in Texas to the Waco community,” shares Tiffany Chen, co-founder of Tiff’s Treats. “We started our company almost 20 years ago on campus at the University of Texas, just an hour and a half drive from Waco. We have enjoyed watching Waco thrive and grow and we are excited to finally put some roots down in Waco, which creates a perfect midway stop between our first two markets of Austin and Dallas. ,” states Leon Chen, Tiff’s husband and co-founder of Tiff’s Treats.
Tiff’s Treats will also be giving away prizes at this grand opening including gift cards donated from local area restaurants and shops, randomly inserted into boxes of cookies.
