The Safe Connection

The addition of CONNECT-EZ into Tilt-Werks gives our subscribers the ability to quickly incorporate the connectors into their tilt-up projects. We welcome CONNECT-EZ as a Supplier Sponsor.

CONNECT-EZ, LLC has reached an agreement with Tilt-Up Design Systems, LLC (TDS) to become a Supplier Sponsor of TDS and Tilt-Werks, their web-based tilt-up design and construction software. The sponsorship gives CONNECT-EZ the ability to communicate directly with the Tilt-Werks community in real-time as projects are being designed and built.

“We are very pleased to become a sponsor of the Tilt-Werks innovative technology. Information about our connections is now available to designers while they are developing their projects in Tilt-Werks. They will have direct and immediate access to our product information,” said Bob Foley, CONNECT-EZ co-founder.

As a part of the supplier sponsorship, TDS added the CONNECT-EZ connection information and details into Tilt-Werks. This allows the CONNECT-EZ weldless devices, panel anchors and joist to panel connections to be specified and detailed directly into tilt-up projects as they are being designed using Tilt-Werks. This information can then be shared directly with CONNECT-EZ to obtain pricing and schedule shipment directly to the project job site.

Joe Steinbicker, President of Tilt-Up Design Systems, LLC, stated, “Tilt-Werks is a fully integrated technology that expedites and improves the design and construction process for tilt-up projects. The addition of CONNECT-EZ into Tilt-Werks gives our subscribers the ability to quickly incorporate the connectors into their tilt-up projects. We welcome CONNECT-EZ as a Supplier Sponsor.”

While at the TDS website,, visitors and subscribers can link to the CONNECT-EZ website,, to access information about their complete line of weldless tilt-up panel anchors and structural connectors.

Tilt-Up Design Systems, LLC (TDS) was founded by a group of structural engineers with more than 35 years of experience in the tilt-up industry. The company’s proprietary web based software, Tilt-Werks, is a sophisticated tilt-up application used to develop a complete tilt-up project design and construction package including the Building Information Modeling (BIM) data. Building geometry and engineering data are input via the user friendly interface. As data is entered, Tilt-Werks builds the tilt-up walls on screen, allowing the designer to visually verify the accuracy of the input and interactively make additions and changes. Using this information, Tilt-Werks then automatically generates complete panel design/detail drawings, engineering calculations, reinforcing steel drawings, reinforcing bar cut lists, material and product quantity takeoffs, cost estimates and exportable data files for use with other drawing, design and estimating tools.
