NOVAtime 4000 STARbox is a flexible, scalable, and user-friendly workforce management solution complete with time, attendance, scheduling, accrual, leave, and reporting features that operate in real-time. VOA-WI is currently utilizing NOVAtime 4000 STARbox for approximately 100 employees and 12 supervisors. Time entry is performed with the use of NOVAtouch devices, requiring biometric fingerprint validation before employee access is granted. Cassandra Zamora, Human Resources Manager at VOA-WI, states, “I really like the fingerprint scanner. It’s the best thing for our company because employees don’t have to enter any information other than their employee ID, and then scan their finger. It’s great not having to remember a password.”

VOA-WI’s supervisors use NOVAtime 4000 STARbox to manage and approve their employee’s time. Ms. Zamora adds that “supervisors like being able to access the system remotely.” NOVAtime 4000 STARbox is designed to be intuitive, user-friendly, and easy-to-use by any user level, making it easy for employees, supervisors, and system administrators to learn and utilize.

Prior to implementing this solutions, VOA-WI entered time into a spreadsheet by hand, and then exported the file to their UltiPro payroll system. Now, through the use of Push Technology, employee time records are automatically updated to the database in real-time, as transactions occur. NOVAtime 4000 STARbox is able to export a payroll file that integrates with UltiPro for accurate payroll processing. Moreover, Ms. Zamora expresses that implementing the system has “cut down the payroll processing time by six to eight hours every two weeks!”
