Timeshare resale advertising pioneer Wesley Kogelman, president and CEO of BuyaTimeshare.com, has been named to the prestigious Chairman’s League of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA).
The level of distinction is identified with the timeshare and vacation ownership industry’s key decision-makers and provides for outstanding networking and business development opportunities at industry gatherings throughout the year.
“I am very excited to be joining the Chairman’s League and look forward to becoming more involved with ARDA throughout the year,” said Kogelman. “We have been members of ARDA since 2007 and we have always considered the association as a very important facilitator for the growth of our industry.”
“ARDA has been an advocate for a strong resale marketplace, one that consumers can have confidence in using. Their research, such as the latest AIF Resale Study and others, is providing important information documenting the growth of the secondary market. We want to partner with them to help facilitate the development of a legitimate, vibrant resale sector.”
“I’m already planning my schedule to include the ARDA West Regional meeting in Park City next month as well as the Southeast Regional in Myrtle Beach in October and I’ll certainly do whatever I can to help,” Kogelman added.
Kogelman will be one of an exclusive group of only about 140 members of the Chairman’s League, with members representing the top companies in the U.S. timeshare industry.
“It’s a pleasure to welcome Wes to the Chairman’s League program,” said Bob Craycraft, Vice President of Industry Relations for ARDA. “We’ve enjoyed his participation in ARDA meetings for several years, and his advancement to the Chairman’s League is a natural next step.”
