The Real Estate Marketing Insider offered real estate professionals a set of three important tips to help optimize their video marketing strategy for real estate. A June 30 press release by HowtoMarketHouses.com announced that the online marketing and realty development firm had released an update to its suite of video marketing tips available on its website. On the heels of this news, REMI offers real estate agents strategies for making their video campaigns as successful as possible.

HowtoMarketHouses.com updates its tips each year to account for new technology that may have changed its offerings for DIY video services for realtors. The official press release from HowtoMarketHouses.com says of its video tips series: “This ongoing series of marketing data is expected to help more professionals find easier ways to create and market videos for real estate online.” The content is free, and includes both streaming video demos and documents that are downloadable as PDF’s and printable for no charge. Premium content with even more offerings is also available this year.

The Insider advises all realtors to take advantage of free resources such as those provided by HowtoMarketHouses.com’s videos, which can be particularly helpful for realtors that are new to video marketing. For firms that already use videos as part of their marketing strategy, the task of perfecting a video marketing campaign can be quite daunting. Here are REMI’s Top 3 tips for fine tuning a video marketing campaign:

  •     Showcase the property, and don’t worry about featuring the realtor too much. An on-screen agent may be used to introduce the property, but the overall focus of the video must stay on the property.
  •     Work from a script - don’t try to ad-lib. This will allow one to prepare and polish what they want to say about the property.
  •     Use multiple takes and camera angles to allow for a diverse array of options to edit from. Furthermore, if a particular video has received a large number views on a website, one can use a similar configuration of lighting and camera angle in other videos, too.

The Real Estate Marketing Insider offered realtors its Top 3 tips for refining a real estate video marketing campaign. REMI’s tip sheet was released after HowtoMarketHouses.com updated their online tips for video marketing.
