TIS Nashville Launches New Occupational Accident Insurance Product for Independent Contractors in the Transportation Industry

TIS Nashville, a subsidiary of Avant, LLC, is a Managing General Agent (MGA) specializing in transportation related insurance products. Effective 09/15/2013, they will now offer a new Occupational Accident and Contingent Liability Insurance program for owner operators nationwide.

The Occupational Accident and Contingent Liability Program will be managed by Phil Williams, who has over 25 years of experience with Independent Contractor and Occupational Accident program management. These Occupational Accident products will be issued through Hudson Insurance Group (an A.M. Best 'A' rated paper).

Avant and it's subsidiaries, TIS Nashville, iCS, and Avant Specialty Claims, offer a wide array of transportation insurance coverages through a network of independent agencies with specialization in the commercial auto arena. Recently, the Avant organization has also added Motor Truck Cargo, Passenger Accident, and several new Auto Liability options.
