Amy Schumer and Paul Shaffer Join Forces To Raise $2.5 Million For MS Research
New York, NY (PRWEB) November 02, 2016 -- The Tisch MS Research Center of New York (Tisch MSRCNY) announced today that their continued efforts to raise $10 million for the Center’s unprecedented stem cell research received a major boost. Legendary musician Paul Shaffer and star comedian Amy Schumer actively participated in support of their annual Future Without MS Gala at The Plaza Hotel on October 27th, 2016 raising 2.5 million dollars for MS research.
Over 400 guests were in attendance to show their support for the dedicated work of the Tisch MS Research Center, and to hear first-hand the progress being made in MS research. Tisch MSRCNY is the only center with a FDA approved stem cell clinical trial for MS in the United States.
