Book of Poems and Prose Explores the Deep Nature of Spirituality
Hailey, Idaho (PRWEB) August 09, 2013 -- For a long time, Todd Erick Pedersen considered himself to be on his own spiritual path. Recently, he began to explore the idea that his work may not just be valuable for his own journey, but for many others as well. This was the idea that led him to writing “Sophia: The Heart of Holy Wisdom” (published by Balboa Press).
“I wrote this book of poetry and prose to reflect my years of growing insight through meditation, reading, yoga, and other modes of spiritual exploration,” says Pedersen. “I hope that readers will find inspiration, meaning, nourishment, and full-bodied understanding of what it means to live one’s daily life in a soul-centric fashion.”
“Sophia” is filled with poems and short stories that are all set in non-fictive, naturalistic, seasonally evocative and soulful settings. The insights are sincere and have many layers of meaning. Each work can be enjoyed and explored over and over.
