“Building a stronger culture of inclusion and increased diversity depends first on listening to the perspectives of diverse talent, then amplifying what’s critical, what’s missing and what strengths can be leveraged,” said Nancy Sims, president of Toigo Foundation.

The Toigo Foundation, a leading non-profit focused on development and advancement of diverse talent, today launched “Equity Matters: The Voice of an Evolving Workplace” in an effort to gather viewpoints from ethnically diverse professionals on the state of inclusion and diversity in business today. The Toigo Equity Matters survey is currently live; diverse professionals are encouraged to take ten minutes, amplify their voices and complete they survey before the April 21st, 11:59 pm PST.

“Building a stronger culture of inclusion and increased diversity depends first on listening to the perspectives of diverse talent, then amplifying what’s critical, what’s missing and what strengths can be leveraged,” said Nancy Sims, president of Toigo Foundation. “The Equity Matters survey findings will serve as timely, focused input directly from underrepresented professionals on the current state of inclusion in the workplace. We expect the findings to reveal some foundational elements that organizations can continue to build upon.”

Based on work with both employers and diverse employees, Toigo is positioned to offer a trusted viewpoint on how current practices are impacting highly sought-after talent. The survey includes a mix of questions examining the culture of inclusion at the respondent’s current workplace (or most recent), as well as individual viewpoints about the person’s career trajectory and interactions.

“The need to navigate challenging conversations about race and equity and examine issues around culture and inclusion has never been more important. Toigo’s goal is to help drive these conversations—and needed solutions—forward.”
Toigo will present key Equity Matters take-aways in a published thought leadership report in late Spring.
