Kern River Rock N’ Blues Fest to Be Bigger and Better with Tommy Middaugh and Travel To Go As Proud Sponsors
San Diego, California (PRWEB) August 28, 2014 -- Tommy Middaugh, the vice president of Travel To Go, a company that is considered to be the number one vacation fulfillment provider globally, is excited to announce its latest charitable contribution. Middaugh and his team are proud to sponsor the Kern Rock N’ Blues Fest for the 2014 season. This is the third year that they have sponsored the event and are excited to announce that this year will mark the biggest festival yet. Guests from all over the country will be flocking to Kernville, California to take part in the action from September 25-28, 2014.
The Kern River Rock N’ Blues Fest will be held in the beautiful backdrop of the Central California Mountains. Last year, about 3,000 people were in attendance, with even more expected this year. The audiences will enjoy performances from a dozen of the best-known bands in the blues community.
Because of the growing popularity of the event, Tommy Middaugh of Travel To Go is excited to announce that the event will be adding an additional day, growing from three to four days.
In addition, there will be a variety of great events happening over the four-day period. Notable events include the Travel To Go VIP Party, taking place at 1 pm on Friday. Jade Bennett and the Boom Booms will be the main entertainment for this celebration. On Sunday, the majority of the bands will participate in an event featuring Jon English and English Revolver. These musical talents will be performing to the audience in the center of Kern.
“We look forward to expanding to our charitable horizons with more music venues. We have committed to sponsoring the Indian Hills Blues Festival in May of 2015 as well, with Notorious Entertainment and Bud Light,” shares Tommy Middaugh of Travel To Go.
While the festival aims to bring people together to listen to terrific blues music, the main goal of the event is to raise money for the construction of the Bakersfield National Cemetery in Kern County. The cemetery will be utilized to remember, honor, and lay to rest veterans of our country.
Middaugh adds, “This is our way of giving back to the community and helping to service our veterans who have fought for our country.”
