The new Tijuana office opened on July 1, 2013 and enables the firm to serve clients located in Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate, Ensenada, La Paz and the Los Cabos area. The firm will also use its Tijuana office to support clients in the state of Sonora and its main municipalities of Hermosillo and Nogales.
CCN's new Tijuana office adds to CCN's 7 office network in Mexico, and its 3 offices in Texas, United States of America, with which the firm consolidates as a high quality legal services option, with excellent geographic coverage. CCN's Tijuana office will focus on the established manufacturing, real estate and services sectors prevalent in northwestern Mexico.
The firm is also pleased to announce that effective July 1, 2013, the firm has named Mr. Javier Zapata Zuñiga as the CCN partner to manage the Tijuana office. Mr. Zapata, a Tijuana native, is a seasoned Mexican attorney with many years of experience advising clients on Mexican corporate, labor, maquila/manufacturing, real estate and foreign investment law issues. CCN's Tijuana office will also feature the difficult to find legal capabilities of Mr. Toshiya Kobayashi, a Mexican attorney, fluent in Japanese, who will work as an Of-counsel attorney at CCN.
