Grogan Graffam, P.C. Attorney Appointed Alternative Dispute Resolution Mediator and Arbitrator
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) July 21, 2014 -- Grogan Graffam, P.C. is pleased to announce that shareholder Joseph A. Macerelli was recently appointed an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Mediator and Arbitrator by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Macerelli has participated in numerous ADR proceedings and recently completed a rigorous formal mediation training program provided by the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Mr. Macerelli chairs the firm's Professional Liability practice group and has been a member of the firm's Board of Directors since 1986. With over 30 years of trial experience, he concentrates his practice in the areas of medical malpractice and other professional liability defense, insurance defense, personal injury and products liability defense.
Mr. Macerelli currently serves as Chairman of the Board at Canonsburg General Hospital and as Chairman of the West Penn Allegheny Health System Board. He also is a board member of the Allegheny Health Network.
Mr. Macerelli is a Past President of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and a Past President of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute. He is also an active member of the Allegheny County, Washington County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations.
Mr. Macerelli received his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh in 1976 and his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1981.
