On September 15, 2018, TopSpot celebrated 15 years of providing local and nationwide clients with digital marketing services. Beginning with only 5 team members who are still with the company today, TopSpot now employs over 100 team members in their Houston office and has 20 sales representatives across the United States.
TopSpot began in 2003 when a customer expressed curiosity for showing up on Google AdWords (now Google Ads). Fifteen years later that company is still a client along with over 800 others who benefit from search engine optimization, paid advertising, conversion optimization, and web design & development services.
“We credit the success over the last 15 years to the trust our team and clients have put in us,” says Co-Founder and President David Underwood. “From day one, we wanted to provide an unbiased approach to a digital strategy (which was extremely different, a simpler time in 2003).”
Throughout the last 15 years, TopSpot has earned over 150 awards including being ranked the Largest Houston-area Advertising Agency by the Houston Business Journal for the last two years. While most have taken place in Houston so far, their next Client Appreciation Event is in Michigan on October 3rd. The event will feature Google and Customer Experience for Dummies Author, Roy Barnes as they speak about industrial advertising in the digital world and the influence of customer service on business growth.
