USS Hornet Museum and The Bone 107.7 Present Monster’s Ball
Alameda, CA (PRWEB) October 07, 2013 -- Rumors have persisted that spirits roam the decks of the USS Hornet. Now the public has the chance to find out if the aircraft carrier is indeed haunted and at the same time have a “spook-tacularly” good time at the pre-Halloween Monster’s Ball Party.
The USS Hornet and 107.7 The Bone radio present Monster’s Ball, on Saturday, Oct. 26 on the USS Hornet Aircraft Carrier, 707 W. Hornet Ave, Pier 3 in Alameda. The party begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues until midnight. Join the gang and the top disc jockeys from The Bone and party the night away.
ZEBOP!, a Santana tribute band, will be on the stage at 8 p.m. and at 10 p.m. The Cocktail Monkeys will also hit the stage performing hit rock songs from the 70s to today.
Take a break from dancing and go on a haunted fo’c’sle tour between 8 and 11 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase along with a cash bar. The fo’c’sle refers to the forward part a ship with the sailors’ living quarters, and is said to be a major haunted hot spot.
Don’t forget to enter the costume contest for a chance to win a $500 cash prize.
