The Town of Rotterdam has joined the Empire State Purchasing Group, a regional purchasing group that helps local governments post, distribute and manage RFPs, quotes, addendums and awards online.

The Town of Rotterdam has joined the Empire State Purchasing Group, a regional purchasing group that helps local governments post, distribute and manage RFPs, quotes, addendums and awards online at http://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york. BidNet’s Empire State purchasing group provides notifications to registered vendors of new relevant solicitations, and any addenda and award information from over 200 participating agencies from across New York State.

The Town of Rotterdam joined the purchasing group in August. In joining, the Town of Rotterdam has become the latest participating local government agency utilizing the system to streamline the purchasing process. The Empire State Purchasing Group is a single, online location for managing sourcing information and activities and provides local New York government agencies a method to minimize costs and time delays associated with the procurement process.
