Town of Torrington Transitions to E-Recording with Simplifile
TORRINGTON, Conn. (PRWEB) August 06, 2013 -- Simplifile, the nation’s largest electronic recording (e-recording) service provider, is now available in the Town of Torrington, Conn., expediting and automating the recording process for the town clerk’s office and their customers.

Torrington is the third Connecticut recording jurisdiction to adopt Simplifile’s e-recording service, following the towns of Manchester and Waterbury who also opened its availability to customers last month.
According to Quartiero, the town is pleased with Simplifile’s easy-to-use service, which automatically sends the clerk’s office a nightly report of the recordings for each day.
Title companies, banks, attorneys and organizations who submit documents to the town clerk’s office for recording will experience faster and more efficient service by e-recording.
For instance, Quartiero said, “The customers receive their documents back almost immediately without having to wait for us to send them after recording. Also, if the recording documents have a mistake they are quickly rectified without having to wait for the mail backs.”
E-Recording also reduces payment errors, paper waste, and fuel as Simplifile delivers and processes everything online for both the customers and the clerk’s office.
