Standifer Insurance Group Engages Community in Charity Event to Raise Support for Local Chapter of Toys For Tots

Standifer Insurance Group, an Alabama-based firm providing insurance and financial consultation services from offices that serve the greater Birmingham metropolitan region, is announcing a community-wide charity drive to help raise funds and support for the Toys For Tots initiative

We believe all children should have a chance to experience the magic and joy of the Holidays, and we’re calling on everyone in our community to join us during the Toys For Tots charity event this season

Standifer Insurance Group, a locally owned and operated agency providing financial planning and insurance services to families and business owners throughout northern Alabama, is embarking on a charity initiative that promises to gather funds and support from across the region and direct it toward the Birmingham chapter of the Toys For Tots program.

The Toys For Tots program, originally launched more than 60 years ago by the US Marine Corps, provides more than 4 million children in the nation with giftwrapped toys donated by community members. All gifts donated are provided to underprivileged or underserved families who live in the region where the toys were received, allowing donors to see the positive impact of their support in the local community.

“We believe all children should have a chance to experience the magic and joy of the Holidays, and we’re calling on everyone in our community to join us during the Toys For Tots charity event this season,” says Jessup Standifer, owner and acting director of Standifer Insurance Group.

To raise donations and awareness for the Toys For Tots program, Standifer and his team are establishing connections across the Birmingham area utilizing social media and email communication channels. The Standifer team has undertaken nearly a dozen Birmingham-area charitable efforts since 2015. As active members of the national “Agents of Change” charity support campaign, Standifer Insurance Group plans to continue supporting regional nonprofit organizations at the rate of one every other month.
