LEE, N.H., March 14, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As part of its ongoing philanthropic work, RagingBull.com Foundation donated $5,000 to Samaritan's Purse. The donation was made by the Foundation to help with Samaritan's Purse on-location support for families and communities impacted by natural disasters such as the March 3 tornadoes in Alabama.
The RagingBull.com Foundation, founded by expert traders Jeff Bishop & Jason Bond, was set up to donate trading profits to charitable organizations from the community of active traders at RagingBull.com. The Foundation recently pledged to donate over $300,000 in trading profits to charities nominated by RagingBull.com's trading community members. "Through our RagingBull.com Foundation, we can share the profits of our trading with selected charitable organizations. In turn, these charities can then put these donations to good use as part of their missions to give help where it is most needed, and to improve the lives of people and their communities. The vision of our RagingBull.com Foundation is trading profits, paid forward."
Samaritan's Purse was nominated to receive a donation by RagingBull.com member R. Oneal who suggested the charity because, "It is on the front lines of international relief and because they score very high on Charity Navigator with a 5 star rating; 98% of the donations go to the cause."
Samaritan's Purse is an international Christian relief organization helping those in desperate need who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine wherever they are, and mobilizes resources in the U.S. and around the world.
"Less than 24 hours after the storm, Samaritan's Purse was on the ground in Alabama helping families devastated by the deadly tornadoes. Our volunteers are clearing debris, searching for personal belongings, tarping roofs, and chain-sawing downed trees," said Beth Caudill, Director of Donor Services with Samaritan's Purse. "We are thankful for the many donors who have made this work possible. Please continue to pray for Alabama families who are hurting."
Added Jason Bond; "Our donation will help Samaritan's Purse continue its excellent work in helping individuals and their families in need, and to help people impacted by devastating events to rebuild their lives. We are honored to support Samaritan's Purse in this way, and to help them continue their amazing work!"
