28th Annual Tram Road Challenge in Palm Springs Brings in Buyers by Brad Schmett
(PRWEB) October 23, 2013 -- Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams, today announced that he is bracing for business, thanks to the October 26, 2013 Tram Road Challenge set for 7am this coming Saturday at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Considered one of the toughest 6k races on record, the 3.7 mile race covers a whopping 2,643 feet in elevation.
The race begins at the bottom of the Tram Road and finishes at the Valley Station, making it a challenge in every sense of the word. The uphill run/walk is presented by the Palm Springs Aerial Tram who for more than a quarter century has seen courageous runners trek more than 2,000 vertical feet during the course of the race.
Schmett recently discussed the event, “This race is legendary as I am sure you all know. The Tram Road 6k is the premier race of the year and attracts runners from all over the world. The excitement in town that weekend is palpable and we all gear up for renewed interest in folks wanting to own a local home for vacations or as a permanent residence. With around 1,000 runners and several thousand spectators, the Palm Springs Aerial Tram Road Challenge is one of the largest and oldest events of its kind on the West Coast.
