This service applies distributed processing technology utilizing transcosmos' proprietary high-speed analysis platform for big data to provide advanced attribution analysis reports by professional analysts.
In recent years, the concept of attribution analysis for the effectiveness verification of Internet advertising has become widespread, whereby advertising effectiveness is verified not only by its direct effects, but also by including its indirect effects (click-through conversion, view-through conversion). In order to learn how Internet advertising affects user behavior on the Web, it is possible to evaluate its advertising contribution by acquiring the advertising contact history at the log level and calculating the indirect effects for different media and different ads.
However, in attribution analysis, since the subject of analysis includes the action paths of conversion users, as well as the action paths of non-conversion users with dozens of times as much data, this involves dealing with big data that usually requires several days for the data aggregation process alone.
To address problems such as this, transcosmos has developed a proprietary high-speed analysis platform for big data based on distributed processing technology "Hadoop" in order to quickly perform aggregation processing for the action paths and advertising contact history data of all users, which can be obtained from third party delivery tools for Internet advertising. By reducing to several hours the aggregation process which required several days using conventional processing technology, and then having the extracted big data analyzed by professional analysts, it is now possible to propose flexible attribution analyses according to the business characteristics and advertising objectives of our client companies.
