Maine Business Completes Major Factory Expansion, Continues to Innovate Product Handling
Oakland, ME (PRWEB) October 09, 2013 -- Wrabacon Incorporated, a renowned provider of custom automation and product handling solutions has recently announced the completion of a major expansion to the company's Oakland, Maine facility. On top of this expansion, the company has also announced initiatives to continually add to its ability to provide an even wider variety of automated conveyor systems.
With work recently completed on a 5000 square foot expansion to Wrabacon's existing facility, company president Rob Bartlett is confident that Wrabacon will be even better prepared to provide businesses with what he and his team refer to as “creative” automation solutions. He says, “Just a couple years ago, we celebrated Wrabacon's 25th year in business. In that time, we've had the chance to provide automation and custom product handling for just about any industry that needs it. Fortunately, we've also had the opportunity to grow quite a bit.”
25 years ago Wrabacon was housed in a small garage in Oakland, Maine. The company had two employees. Despite that, Wrabacon successfully developed the innovative automation and product handling solutions that businesses in a wide range of industries needed. With this history in mind, Bartlett adds, “Today, we're ecstatic to introduce a brand new expansion.”
According to Bartlett, Wrabacon's latest 5,000 square foot expansion will allow the company to continue serving businesses in virtually any industry that requires automation products, automated conveyor systems, and more. As part of recent expansion efforts, Wrabacon has done more than simply add space to the company's manufacturing floor. In order to meet the demand for effective, efficient, and flexible automation products, the company has also added to its already significant manufacturing capabilities through the acquisition of new, state of the art CAD/CAM systems.
With more space and enhanced capabilities, Wrabacon is now capable of providing an even wider variety of automation solutions. This includes automated conveyor systems. As Bartlett explains, with each automated conveyor system custom designed to meet specific requirements, more space and new equipment goes a long way in expanding what's possible in terms of both scale and capabilities.
