Backridge Tree Service is always committed to adhering to the highest level of safety possible. They are always looking for new ways to make their job safer and easier for their customers and their employees. In order to increase their level of safety, certified arborist Rob Calley recently earned a prestigious safety credential from the Tree Care Industry Association.
Calley is now a Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP). This distinction is highly regarded in the tree service industry and Calley is one of only 1,300 with the credential nationwide.
The CTSP credential carries with it an obligation to foster a culture of safety in tree care companies above and beyond the norm. Its focus on training, communication and learning make it very valuable as a resource for change in a dangerous and often overlooked profession.
"I am humbled by the challenge of this credential to help guide not only my company but the other hard-working companies in our local area,” said Calley. “Setting the tone for a new culture of safety in this ‘old school’ market will be tough."
