Ride the Tail of the Dragon Then Sleep in the Trees: River’s Edge Treehouses Breaks Ground
Robbinsville, NC (PRWEB) January 07, 2014 -- Motorsports enthusiasts who visit the Smoky Mountains can soon stay overnight in the trees. River’s Edge Treehouses started construction on six unique treehouses located on the Cheoah River. Only minutes away from the renowned touring on the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway, these “elevated cabins” offer first-class amenities including secure covered parking right under each treehouse.
“When we came home to this area,” says Robbinsville native and owner Laila Hill Mortimer, “we couldn’t find premium yet affordable lodging so our dream of treehouses was born.” Guests can relax to the sounds of the river and the wind through the trees, yet they are only 5 minutes away from Robbinsville, NC restaurants, shops, and fuel.
In addition to “under-treehouse” parking for several vehicles, each treehouse is uniquely decorated and has king-size beds, free WiFi, satellite TV, continental breakfast delivery, and a large, central hot tub. The community area also includes a barbecue area, benches, fire pits, picnic tables, a horse-shoe pit and a nature trail to the river.
River’s Edge Treehouses officially opens in April 2014 and will be open through November. For more information and to stake your claim on a unique experience, visit http://www.RiversEdgeTreehouses.com.
