Trident University International Welcomes New Regional Manager for the Central Southwest
Melanie Sanchez Leckie has joined Trident as a Regional Manager of Strategic Military Community Relations for Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
CHANDLER, Ariz., July 15, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Melanie Sanchez Leckie has joined Trident University International (Trident) as Regional Manager of Strategic Military Community Relations. She will be responsible for military outreach activities in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
In this role she will assist current and prospective students as they work towards their respective educational goals. Additionally, she will work closely with representatives on military bases, other military stakeholders, and community members in helping to support Trident's mission of providing a quality and affordable education. Beyond her work in the field, she will collaborate with key staff members across the University in helping to ensure a positive experience for all students.
Leckie is an energetic, fearless, and motivated leader who is a higher education advocate for members of the military and their families. This drive can be traced back to her parents' belief in the power of education.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Leckie completed her undergraduate degree while on active duty in Florida. She is an alumna of Trident, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) while living across the continents of Europe and Africa as an active duty Air Force spouse.
Leckie is a first generation American whose parents are from Nicaragua. She is multilingual, with Spanish being her first language.
