Triumph Learning Welcomes Julie Huston as New Vice President of Sales
New York, NY (PRWEB) July 09, 2013 -- Triumph Learning, a market leader in improving teaching and learning through an agile blend of print and digital solutions, has announced the appointment of Julie Huston as Vice President of Sales, effective July 1, 2013. For the past year, Ms. Huston has been consulting for several early-stage educational technology companies. Prior to that, she led the sales force at Archipelago Learning for ten years, from 2002 to 2012, playing a key role in rolling out Study Island, Archipelago’s core product line, to more than 22,000 schools across the U.S. and Canada. Before helping to propel Archipelago Learning from a small start-up to a publicly traded company that was eventually acquired by Plato Learning in 2012, Ms. Huston was with Training Express, a company she co-founded in 1992 that developed and offered computer skills programs to corporate, municipal, and industrial organizations across seven states.
In her new role at Triumph Learning, Ms. Huston will oversee a sales force of more than 60 professionals who serve customers in approximately 42,000 schools. Her past experiences will prove especially relevant as Triumph continues to expand its digital product offerings, the centerpiece of which is Readiness for the Common Core and, in Texas, Mastering the TEKS Online.
