Tru Cab Announces Start of 24/7 Cab Service in North Scottsdale
Scottsdale, Ariz. (PRWEB) October 31, 2013 -- Local taxi start up Tru Cab is expanding its fast response service outside of Old Town Scottsdale to now include North Scottsdale. Starting November 1st, 2013, Tru Cab will keep cabs 24/7 in North Scottsdale. Customers now can expect to see 10-15 minute response times or less if they live in areas near the Kirkland Commons, Greyhawk, Scottsdale Airpark, the TPC Scottsdale, Ironwood Village and the Scottsdale Quarter to name a few.
To celebrate the new expansion, Tru Cab is offering coupons for taxi rides for November. Customers can receive up to $10 off their first ride of $40 or more with Tru Cab by entering the promo code FIRSTTIME when booking at trucab.com/northscottsdale or by mentioning the code when they call for their reservation.
Co-Owner Larry Loe was excited in discussing its first expansion since they've opened, “We have started to see an increase in customers calling us from the North Scottsdale area, but never had cabs dedicated up there so they would have to wait 30 minutes or more for a cab which to us is really unacceptable to us.”
Tru Cab customers can expect an instant difference in response time. When asked about Friday or Saturday night service, fellow co-owner Eric Mulvin added this, “just like any business, Tru Cab experiences over capacity on Friday and Saturday nights. If you live in North Scottsdale you should expect to see cabs arrive 10-15 minutes earlier, even on a busy night. If all of the cabs are busy in North Scottsdale we will send up additional cabs from Old Town.”
Mulvin also wanted to point out, “as always we will be giving honest wait times so if it's extremely busy, we may say it will take 30 or 40 minutes for a cab to arrive, but it will arrive within our promised time or we'll call you personally to update you.”
North Scottsdale residents can also expect Tru Cab's other standard services that they have become accustom to over the last year. Those services include include free coffee and donuts on trips to Sky Harbor Airport, Mesa Gateway Airport, and the Scottsdale Airpark before 9:00 am, Android tablets with Verizon 4G data, friendly drivers and clean cabs.
For the time being owners Mulvin and Loe didn't have any comment on when and where the next expansion will take place. “It really depends on the next area where we start to get a lot of calls, I can't wait for the way when we have cabs easily accessible across the whole valley but we have to take it one step at a time,” said Mulvin.
Even though Tru Cab is based in Scottsdale, Loe mentioned that customers across the Phoenix Metro area have enjoyed its service. “Customers can call Tru Cab from anywhere in the valley and do. We encourage customers to book in advance if it's a long or important trip so we can get a cab out to you on your time. Even if you live out in Peoria we will still service you, but right now we only keep cabs in Scottsdale and Tempe so service times will be longer outside of those cities for now.”
