SEMA Welcomes Greg Adler of Transamerican Auto Parts to another Term on the Board
Compton, California (PRWEB) July 17, 2014 -- SEMA will be holding their annual Installation Banquet this Friday, July 18, where they will be announcing the newest inductees to the SEMA Hall of Fame as well as their Board members, including CEO and president of Transamerican Auto Parts, Greg Adler. Adler is both CEO and off-road racer and TAP is the parent company of 4 Wheel Parts, prominent retailer of Jeep and truck accessories and parts.
Adler served his first term on the SEMA Board from July 2011-2013 and is proud to be serving another beginning this Friday.
The Gala will take place at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center, located at 601 McKinley Rd. in Pomona, CA. Each year, it is held to honor inductees into the SEMA Hall of Fame and to announce the newly elected SEMA Board members: leaders in the automotive industry one and all.
The 2014 SEMA Installation Gala is themed “Leaders and Legends” and will feature automotive industry up-and-comers as well as esteemed icons in the 4x4 business. SEMA President and CEO Chris Kersting says, “We’re fortunate to have an industry filled with passionate, hard-working individuals. We’re even more fortunate to have volunteers who go above and beyond in assisting the industry. It’s our privilege to pay tribute to some of these amazing leaders during the upcoming SEMA Installation Gala.”
TAP has been leading the 4x4 industry for over 50 years through the manufacturing, distribution and sale of off-road truck and Jeep parts. Working his way up from store operator manager to president and CEO, Adler grew alongside the company and has been largely responsible for its exponential growth and success over the years.
“I am proud to serve another term on the SEMA Board of Directors and to support the entire aftermarket industry,” says Adler, “of course, I will continue to be a strong advocate for the entire truck and jeep segment of our industry.”
Alongside the announcement of the new Hall of Fame inductees and SEMA Board members, there will be a dinner and cocktail reception, where the SEMA Pinewood Drag Races will be taking place. The races are a fundraiser for SEMA Cares, which supports a variety of children’s charities.
