Introducing the newest member of the TRUE® Fitness High Intensity Training Line (HIT), the ALPINE RUNNER.

This revolutionary machine is the ultimate in incline training with an incline range of -3% to 30%. The incline up to 30% doubles many leading incline ranges

Climb to new heights with the newest and most advanced cardio machine, the Alpine Runner from TRUE Fitness Technology, Inc. (TRUE), a leader in premium fitness equipment for commercial markets. By combining the quality and features that TRUE is known for with the market’s largest range incline, TRUE brings its customers the finest cardio machine on the market and has already begun shipping to commercial gyms across the country. The Alpine Runner is the latest cardio machine TRUE’s High-Intensity Training (HIT) Series.

“This revolutionary machine is the ultimate in incline training with an incline range of -3% to 30%. The incline up to 30% doubles many leading incline ranges,” said Matt Hacker, Chief Sales Officer of TRUE. “Studies show that you burn more calories walking or running on an incline and there is also less impact on the joints.”

A 150lb person walking 4mph can burn approximately 190 calories in 30 minutes. If the incline is increased to 5%, the same person will burn 241 calories walking at the same speed for the same amount of time. At a 10% incline, the user will burn 290 calories in the same amount of time. With the touch of a button, when the Alpine Runner is raised to a maximum 30% incline, the same person will burn 487 calories in 30 minutes when walking 4mph. “The more incline you add, the more effective your cardio exercise will be,” adds Hacker.

The TRUE Alpine Runner also offers a number of customizable consoles, TRUE’s Soft System® and patented Heart Rate Control® technology. Runners, walkers, and climbers appreciate the softer deck that cushions each stride and remains easy on the joints during each exercise. The extended, vertical hand grips provide easy gripping when exercising at an extreme incline, and will provide added comfort for all users. New Monument workouts pre-programmed into the touchscreen consoles allow users to climb the heights of internationally famous landmarks like the St. Louis Arch, Eiffel Tower, Mount Everest and more.

The Alpine Runner is the latest in the TRUE HIT Series which contains equipment that provides users with intense workouts that will challenge the body in ways like never before. Other products in the HIT Series include: The Traverse and The Spectrum. The Traverse is a lateral trainer that uses smooth, lateral motion that activates more muscle groups than traditional elliptical cardio machines. The Spectrum changed the makeup of gyms everywhere by combining a stepper, elliptical and a runner to provide three unique ranges of motion in one piece of cardio equipment.
