Tucson Arby’s Raising Money for Organizations Helping Young People; Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement and No Kid Hungry to Receive Donations
TUCSON, Ariz. (PRWEB) September 19, 2018 -- Arby’s restaurants in the greater Tucson, Ariz., area is launching a fundraising event for No Kid Hungry, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Junior Achievement of Tucson during the month of September. From now until September 30, guests who visit any of the local Arby’s restaurants are invited to donate to the organizations.
The September No Kid Hungry Dine Out campaign is organized by non-profit Share Our Strength, whose goal is to eliminate childhood hunger in the U.S. Money raised helps to feed students with school breakfast and afterschool meals as well through a summer meals program. This is Arby’s 5th year participating in the national program.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson’ s goal is to help all children achieve success in life. They work to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally-supported, one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better.
Junior Achievement of Tucson works to empower future generations and give them the tools to succeed. Through its mentorship program, students learn the importance of money management, workforce readiness and entrepreneurial thinking.

Tucson Arby’s restaurants have ongoing charity relationships with the local Tucson community for the past 30 years. The restaurant recently concluded its annual fundraiser for United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) and raised over $20,800. for the local organization. In the past year, Irish Beef has donated more than $48,000 to Tucson charities and is committed to giving back to the community.
