Tucson Coin & Autograph Announces Cash Match Events for Local Charities
Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) October 29, 2014 -- Tucson Coin & Autograph raised $700 and collected nearly fifty pounds of food for the Food Bank of Southern Arizona during their premier event in October. For his November event, Brett Sadovnick will match up to a $20 donation for Tu Nidito Children and Family Services, Southern Arizona's resource for children and families whose lives have been impacted by serious illness or death. David Fitzsimmons will join the fundraising effort from 4:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. by drawing caricatures for those who donate $50 or more.
The community is welcome to stop by and enjoy light refreshments from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. As a special thank you to those who donate between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., gold sovereign coins will be available for purchase (one per customer) at no premium over the cost of the gold. These coins are .2354 oz. AGW (Actual Gold Weight), typically selling for 8-10 % over the gold price. For silver collectors who donate, they will be selling a Certified Uncirculated Silver Dollar from the 1800's for $50, which is also under the wholesale price.
“This is a great opportunity to give back to the community. By coming in during one of our fundraising events and donating, we have the potential, to really make a difference for our local non-profits,” said Brett Sadovnick. “For our November event, we are thrilled to have the talented, David Fitzsimmons drawing for our patrons. His cartoons are one-of-a kind and it is unique opportunity for the community to see him in action.”
