Twin Cities Neighborhoods with the Highest Home Price Gains
Minneapolis, Twin Cities Minnestoa (PRWEB) October 09, 2014 -- Home buyers gain knowledge of the Twin Cities neighborhoods with the highest home price gains from the recent CoreLogic Home Price Index (HPI); combining those insights with median home prices gains in Trulia's Minneapolis heat map is powerful. Homestead buyers in the Twin Cities, as well as residential investors, can glean leads on which location to buy a home in for the best Twin Cities MN housing market price appreciation gains.
"With fewer deeply-discounted Twin Cities bargain homes available to purchase, house prices in the metro continue to record monthly gains regardless of the decline in the number of sold homes," says Jenna Thuening, owner of Home Destination. "Home buyers rely on sources of reputable information and seek guidance to interpret the research when choosing which neighborhood in the Twin Cities to buy a home in."
CoreLogic's August report marks a point of 30 consecutive months of increasing home prices year-over-year. All 50 states record improvements in annual home price appreciation levels, which permit home sellers to leverage new home equity gains. Improvements in Twin Cities home equity gains are more even and steady than many metros of similar size. The HPI achieved new benchmarks in nine other states: Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas and the state of Wyoming. CoreLogic's report includes the forecast that home prices, including distressed sales, will move upward 0.2 percent from August 2014 to September 2014 and 5.2 percent from August 2014 to August 2015.
House prices across the Twin Cities, including suburb regions, increased at a slower pace and behind the national average for the month of August. CoreLogic's Home Price Index reveals comparisons between August 2013 and August 2014 home price improvements in the U.S. were 6.4 percent; in the Twin Cities they increase was increased lower at 5.1 percent. At the same time, the home price appreciation rate in the Twin Cities was 0.9 percent from the previous month.
