We aim to be not only the number one lender of USDA products in Ohio, but the rest of our licensed states as well.
Strongsville, OH (PRWEB) November 25, 2014
The USDA just revealed their latest list of businesses that processed at least 100 Rural Development (RD) loans, within the last 12 months. Union Home Mortgage Corp. (UHM) is excited to announce that they topped the USDA RD lender list, with 311 USDA loans closed over 12 months.
“UHM is thrilled to be recognized as Ohio’s largest USDA RD lender,” Al Blank, UHM President, said. “We aim to be not only the number one lender of USDA products in Ohio, but the rest of our licensed states as well.”
The USDA recognized that the lenders topping this list took the initiative to dedicate time and energy to obtain training in these programs, so they could assist borrowers who were looking to buy in rural areas. UHM’s mortgage professionals immersed themselves in the USDA loan programs, in order to access the tools they need to offer Borrowers a full suite of loan options when shopping for a home.
The USDA’s RD Loans are designed to help improve the economy and quality of life in rural America. These programs are set up to support rural settings through essential public facilities and services, such as as water and sewer systems, housing, health clinics, emergency service facilities, and electric and telephone services. The USDA RD Loans were also implemented to help promote the economies in these areas by supporting loans to businesses, through banks and community-managed lending pools.
These initiatives and goals, designed by the USDA, help to set their loans apart and provide an example of how UHM’s work also helps give back to the Ohio community. Placing homeowners and businesses in these areas helps to grow the economy in rural America.
“Topping the list for two years in a row is a true honor for UHM,” Blank added. “Our company is based in Ohio and we work hard to help grow the local economy, while helping homeowners find the best home for their needs.”
