Rick Otton Shares Seller Finance Strategies During His Property Training Event

Making the terms flexible for both buyers and sellers is the secret of seller financing.

New research from Knight Frank found that price-growth for London proeprty is slowing down as more vendors realise the demand is waning due to uncertainties brought about by impending interest rate hikes and upcoming elections, reported on 8 September 2014.

Now that vendors are becoming more realistic with the expectations, Rick Otton, a respected property coach in the UK, explains to London residents that now’s a good opportunity to grab a houses for sale through flexible payment terms.

“Data collected from June to August states that the average price for prime London property jumped to £4.7 million, and this alleged price correction is attracting buyers back into the market. In fact, there was a 17 per cent increase in sales from the same period for properties priced £5million and above, and another 7 per cent rise for real estate sales across all price ranges,” he said.

“We’ve all been reading reports for the past couple of months that many people are being forced out of the market, because of unbelievably high property prices, and this period of price correction is a good window of opportunity for regular folks to enter the property market, especially with the flexibility that seller finance provides.” Mr. Otton said.

Mr. Otton then shared in a recent interview for how seller financing has helped thousands of people buy a house and, sometimes, even create a profitable property investment portfolio for themselves.

“Making the terms flexible for both buyers and sellers is the secret of seller financing. For example, rather than take out a new home loan, a buye may negotiate to assume the existing loan and pay the remaining equity in increments. In that way, the buyer will be able to minimise upfront costs. The seller, on the other hand, will be able to move away from unwanted debt quickly while creaitng passive income at the same time,” according to Mr. Otton.
