In march, house prices in the U.K. have grown consecutively for 15 months and UK economist David Tinsley expects prices to grow up to 10 percent this month, (Express.co.uk reported on 23 March 2014).

Previous data revealed that the last time the country experienced double-digit growth for house prices was last April 2010, and prices rose 10.5 percent during that period.

“When the market is up, expect house prices to go up with it. Sellers are having a great time right now, because property values are higher than ever. But some home buyers are having problems investing in houses without spending a lot of cash,” according to Rick Otton, a sought after property coach in the U.K.

“Some U.K. residents are finding it hard to buy a home because they’re stuck in the old process of buying and selling houses for sale. I’ve told my students time and again that you can’t solve new problems with old solutions. We all have to accept that even though the property market follows a cycle, things have changed a lot since those processes were put first put into place. So some of the solutions it offers will not work as well as before,” he said.

Mr. Otton then shared in an interview for his Free Pack that the new standard in buying and selling houses is to make payments more flexible between buyers and sellers.

“Rather than force people to come up with a 20 percent cash deposit before they can buy a property for sale, it’s so much easier for buyers and sellers to enter an agreement where the buyer can purchase a house with just a small fee. This is more practical since not everyone has a ton of cash lying around their house just to pay a deposit,” commented Mr. Otton.
