University Services’ Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME) has been surveyed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the governing body for accrediting institutions and organizations offering continuing medical education, and awarded University Services accreditation for four years as a provider of continuing medical education for physicians.

University Services’ educational activities are developed to support professional advancement in public health and public policy, as well as in medical science, education, practice, and ethics.
“University Services has worked diligently to provide educational activities that support and enhance physicians’ knowledge,” commented Anu Konakanchi, MD, Program Director of University Services’ Office of CME, “University Services is pleased to be a part of a select group of organizations receiving ACCME accreditation and we look forward to continuing to provide educational activities to physicians nationwide.”
The ACCME employs a rigorous, multilevel process for evaluating institutions’ continuing medical education program according to the high accreditation standards adopted by all seven ACCME member organizations. These organizations of medicine in the US are the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Hospital Association, the American Medical Association, the Association for Hospital Medical Education, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the Council of Medical Specialty Societies, and the Federation of State Medical Boards of the US, Inc.
