This Manchester, NH baseball camp will run from July 29th until August 1st and will give players a glimpse of what playing at the college level is like. Campers start the day with a real college practice, doing the same drills and activities that the student-athletes at Southern New Hampshire University do. Campers will work on individual skills with a team and strategic focus. Afternoon sessions will include college-like pregame prep and scrimmages.
“As a staff we are extremely excited about the opportunity to work with players interested in developing at a high level,” say Scott Loiseau, Head Baseball Coach at SNHU. “We are looking forward to providing an environment at camp that includes not only personal growth in skills, but a foundation of knowledge in both team concepts and weight room/arm care philosophies. Our goal is to leave players with an all-inclusive snapshot into what it would take to play in a championship level program at the college level.”
Campers have the opportunity to receive speed development and weight training instruction from college level coaches. Breakouts will feature information about nutrition, injury prevention (with an emphasis on pitcher arm care), weight training, and flexibility programs. The goal of camp is to introduce athletes to the college student-athlete life and show campers what it takes to play at the next level. At SNHU, we believe that to be the best player you can be, it is important to be balanced in every area.
