We have rolled out an amazing line-up of cross country and track & field camps.
SAN RAFAEL, Calif. (PRWEB) January 09, 2019
Nike Running Camps has camps that offer both track & field and cross country programs, geared towards boys and girls, ages 9-18. Full day, extended day, and overnight camps are directed by NCAA college coaches, elite high school coaches, or experienced professional coaches. Campers train with other motivated individuals, sharing their love of the sport while receiving instruction in a safe, competitive environment and making new friends.
“We have rolled out an amazing line-up of cross country and track & field camps. Our lucky campers spend a week away, living the lives of a student-athletes, doing what they love to do… run, throw, jump. Some of the best coaches in the country train with our kids,” states Jan O’Connor, EVP of US Sports Camps. “They become better, faster smarter athletes.”
While at camp, cross country campers focus on conditioning and strength training, with breakout sessions on subjects dealing with injury prevention, nutrition, mental toughness, peaking for your season, hill training, etc. Track & field campers have the opportunity to focus on specific events of interest: sprints, hurdles, throws, jumps, and middle distance running. Also offered at select locations are programs targeted specifically to the middle school XC runner and a Cross Country Coaches Workshop held in conjunction with the Smoky Mountain Running Camp in Asheville, NC.
