USAPARK Announces Reopening of Off-site Lot for Will Rogers World Airport
Oklahoma City, OK (PRWEB) December 15, 2014 -- With airport parking expected to be tight this holiday season USAPARK OKC Airport Parking is ready to fill the gap. The company recently reopened the lot located at 3901 S. Meridian Avenue. The lot had been closed since May 2013 after a tornado damaged the area.
David Horn, Regional Manager for USAPARK said, "We are excited about this project in that we are adding 265 brand new self park covered spaces to the airport market."
USAPARK Airport Parking provides 2000 covered and uncovered parking spaces, shuttle service from vehicle to the terminal and back, luggage assistance, and a frequent parker program called Fast Pass. The lot is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. It is OKC’s least expensive covered airport parking option, monthly rates and corporate discounts available.
The Fast Pass program allows businesses to earn free parking, and provides shuttle service, free morning USAToday, and complimentary bottles of water upon exit.
The offsite lot originally opened in 1982. Destruction occurred during a round of supercell thunderstorms that developed in the area on May 20, 2013 and created a multi-tornado system throughout the OKC area. Lasting about 40 minutes, the most devastating of the tornados caused catastrophic damage to the city of Moore and throughout Oklahoma City, and registered a maximum rating of EF-5. In addition to billions of dollars in damage, the event took 24 lives and injured hundreds of people, making it the year’s most devastating tornado in Oklahoma and the United States.
Rebuilding efforts continue throughout the area and USAPARK is excited to be a part of the process. The airport is an important part of the OKC community and supporting safe, convenient travel is the company’s goal.
