Some say that knowledge is power, and thanks to representatives with EHE Auctions, the new blog series they have created will empower heavy equipment and farm equipment sellers with information they need to ensure that their items sell at the highest price possible.
"Like selling a car, there are just some things that you won’t know unless someone told you or your read it somewhere," said Milissa Wise, Director of Operations for Expert Heavy Equipment, the parent company of EHE Auctions, which is owned and operated by former Marines. "These blog posts that we’ve created will be the go-to source for information on how to prepare for a sale."
EHE Auctions provides a service for individuals and companies that want to dispose of their used heavy construction, industrial and farm equipment, along with commercial vehicles.
Wise explained that the main purpose of the company’s blog is to provide solid information in order for those wanting to dispose of their heavy construction or farm equipment, get a high price.
The company spokeswoman went on to point out that there are thousands of auctions companies with very few focusing specifically on used heavy construction, farm and industrial equipment along with commercial vehicles.
Because most auction companies lack the knowledge and understanding of this type of equipment, Wise noted, they don’t know what to ask the consignor for in terms of photos and or video to help build bidder confidence.
"EHE Auctions has created a series of blog posts in addition to photo guidebooks for various types of equipment and vehicles," Wise stressed, before adding, "The photo guidebook provides examples of the photos required in addition to the direction on how to take those photos."
In addition, if the seller doesn’t feel comfortable or simply doesn’t have time to get the required photos and video, then EHE Auctions can contract WeGoLook and have that fee deducted from the sale proceeds.
"EHE Auctions is providing them with the information and direction they need in order to ensure their equipment will receive the highest return," Wise said.
