US Federal Contractor Registration Reports System for Award Management (SAM) Currently Down with Unexplained 404 Error
Washington DC (PRWEB) May 16, 2014 -- US Federal Contractor Registration is reporting that System for Award Management or better known as SAM is currently down featuring a 404 error that states “webpage cannot be found.” The Federal Government gave no notice to any currently registered government contractors about SAM being down any time soon for maintenance or urge matters. Any and all businesses that are currently registered in SAM can call (877) 252-2700 Ext 1 to be further updated on the error as it unfolds.
US Federal Contractor Registration’s Case Management department called the federal service desk around 4:30am EST last night to ask when SAM would be back up and running. A representative at the federal service desk stated that at this point in time they are unsure when SAM would be live and active again. US Federal Contractor Registration is still helping businesses with marketing and keeping in close tabs with the federal government on this issue. SAM is the main database in which all businesses must be registered in to accept federal contracts and grants. US Federal Contractor Registration is the world’s largest third party registration firm which has registered over 60,000 businesses in SAM.
Jessica Summers, Director of Case Management for US Federal Contractor Registration stated “When SAM is down it effects all the businesses that are currently registered in the database. Currently due to the 404 error businesses can not view the status, can not make necessary modifications if their CAGE code fails or even perform a general search. This can be very bad if businesses need to be registered or renewed to meet federal contract deadlines with government agencies and can not get to their account.”
Businesses that hire US Federal Contractor Registration are not put at any risk during the government registration process due to the experience and validation of services. Most businesses not only look at it as a safe investment but a guarantee of approval. Why put your business at risk of fines or unresolved issues? Businesses that are not properly registered in the SAM registration usually are given a federal fine, neglected by procurement officers and/or left idle in the massive SAM database.
US Federal Contractor Registration has registered over 60,000 private sector businesses in the SAM registration some of which include McGraw Hill, HP, Wells Fargo, Xerox, GoodWill, Dixie, UPS, Heinz, Sheraton Hotels, Marriott, Westin, Interstate Oil, CITI, and Coldwell Banker. As well as academic institutions and colleges like NYC, Northwestern, Oxford, Southwestern, and Mercer. Numerous federal agencies like US Army, US Navy, Veteran Affairs and United States Department of Agriculture have also had their government paperwork facilitated by US Federal Contractor Registration Case Managers.
