The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is announcing that federal disaster aid has now been made available to the state of New Hampshire. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is announcing that federal disaster aid has now been made available to the state of New Hampshire. During the period of January 26-28, 2015, New Hampshire received a severe snowstorm that resulted in the damage of numerous facilities across the state. In an online statement by FEMA officials it was declared that the President's action makes federal funding available to state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by a severe winter storm and snowstorm in Hillsborough, Rockingham, and Stafford counties. In addition, federal funding is available on a cost-sharing basis for snow assistance during or proximate to the incident period in Hillsborough, Rockingham, and Stafford counties.
