Bernstein Liebhard LLP Comments on Case Docs Recently Released in Ethicon Mesh Litigation
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 13, 2015 -- More than 7,700 Ethicon transvaginal mesh lawsuits (http://www.filevaginalmeshlawsuit.com/ ) have now been filed in New Jersey by women represented by several law firms, including Bernstein Liebhard LLP.
The Firm notes the filing of a recent Case List that reflects 7,731 cases over products manufactured by the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary that are now pending in New Jersey’s Bergen County Superior Court. Mesh lawsuits filed by Bernstein Liebhard LLP, which similarly allege mesh erosion, pain during sexual intercourse, infection and other serious complications, are included in this number, according to reports. Most recently, an Ethicon trial concluded in Kern County Superior Court in California that found for the plaintiff in a case involving the TVT-Abbrevo implant. The woman was awarded $5.7 million in damages by the jury. (Case No. S-1500-CV-279123)
