Vaginal Mesh Lawsuit News: The Rottenstein Law Group LLP Publishes List of Injuries Associated with Defective Vaginal Mesh
Rockville Centre, New York (PRWEB) April 02, 2014 -- The Rottenstein Law Group LLP has published a page on its Vaginal Mesh Lawsuit Center, providing women with information about some of the most common injuries caused by defective mesh devices.
The new page provides a valuable resource to women who are unsure about the symptoms they are experiencing, and whether or not those symptoms are being caused by a failed mesh device. The conditions are some that clients of the law firm have experienced, and were grounds for lawsuits filed against C.R. Bard and other mesh manufacturers.
Vaginal mesh lawsuits brought against C.R. Bard by women alleging serious injuries caused by the devices continue to move forward in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia (In re: C.R. Bard Inc. Pelvic Repair System Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2187). According to an Order issued by Judge Joseph R. Goodwin on March 25, counsel for both sides have been directed to begin the process of choosing 200 cases for the discovery process, in preparation for the next round of bellwether trials.
“Women who have undergone vaginal mesh surgery are sometimes unsure if what they are experiencing is indeed failure of the device they were implanted with,” said Rochelle Rottenstein, principal of the Rottenstein Law Group. “While it is most important for women to immediately consult with their doctors, we wanted to provide this list to give examples of what has led some of our clients to pursue legal action.”
The Rottenstein Law Group continues to provide confidential, no-cost case evaluations to women who allegedly have developed severe adverse side effects after being told that vaginal mesh implant would alleviate symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence.
