Valentine’s Day Treasure Hunt – a Unique Race by Delightgifts.in
Delhi/NCR (PRWEB) February 13, 2014 -- Delight Gifts, a premier experience-gifting portal, held a Treasure Hunt race on February 8 to provide some thrilling times, and lots of delight to couples, as a prelude to Valentine’s Day. The event kickstarted at Zorba the Buddha in the NCR, a yoga and community living center set amidst tranquil surroundings where all participating couples were given introductions and rules of the Treasure Hunt at the Nature fused farmhouse. The idea was simple, find the clues, move on and get their team cards stamped at each destination, while experiencing new delights. To keep them going were some appetizing snack packets provided by the famous Angels in My Kitchen.
The first challenge was a poster poser by Jim’s Jungle Retreat, an enchanted jungle resort in the periphery of the fabled Jim Corbett National Park. The first couples to find a fish in the collage got the next clues first. The clue hidden in cryptic rhymes led the couples towards the Duck Pond at Zorba the Buddha. Here the participating couples had to go through Yoga poses conducted by an expert in yoga. The various asana postures the couples went through elicited many smiles of amazement and amusement. The next cryptic clue was politically inclined and had a bonsai attached. A cavalcade of vehicles headed off to the Lodi Gardens to find their next clue. Master photographers from the house of Giggles took photographs of the contestants using various props.
Romantic undertones started with the next clue, leading the participants to the next destination at the Four Fountain Spa, where the participating men had to give the women a foot massage. This was enjoyed the most by the women participants. At the next point Nehru Park, expert trainers from the well-known Endzone taught the ladies some skills on the art of self-defence, very vital in today’s troubled times. This must have been the warm up for the next clue, which led to some hectic shake-a-leg Salsa dancing moves at the revered Salsa India dance studio located deep in the heart of CR Park.
The contest then moved to the final phase and destination, the much acclaimed-Vivanta by Taj at Surajkund, just as the sun was descending towards the Western horizons. After reaching the Folk Studio all couples spent time in making the best ‘matkas’ after brief training by two National award winning potters. After refreshment and relaxation, the final round moved into couples mixing cocktails for each other, after getting a few tips by famous connoisseurs and sponsored by Absolut.
Monika and Neerad Gupta won the first prize, which included a one-night stay at Vivanta by Taj Surajkund, hot air balloon experience by Sky Waltz, Salsa dancing sessions at Salsa India, Photo sessions by Giggles Photography, Golf lessons by Romit Bose Golf School, massage at Four Fountain Spa and an INR 5000 Delight Gifts Certificate. The second prize won by Jyoti and Premal Watchmaker included a weekend stay at Jim’s Jungle Retreat, paramotoring experience by Fly Boy, dining experience at Oasis, Vivanta by Taj, Surajkund and an INR 4000 Delight Gifts certificate. All the other participating teams received a goody bag with a personalized coffee table book with images of the couple enjoying each challenge during the treasure hunt, video mash up of all the activities of the day and an INR 2000 Delight Gifts certificate.
