Young Boy Takes Fantastic Journey, Finds Faith in Van Hunter’s New Book
Cedar Crest, N.M. (PRWEB) January 15, 2014 -- Van Hunter invites readers to take a spiritual journey and discover the wisdom of God’s word in his new novella, “Adam John Peter” (published by WestBow Press).
Ideal for readers of all ages, “Adam John Peter” recounts the adventures of Adam, a young boy based on Hunter’s real-life grandson. Adam travels through space and time, overcoming difficulties and experiencing suffering as well as great joy. His ultimate search is for Jesus, and throughout the story he finds faith after being forced to face his fears and doubts about God.
“This is a great story that parents can use to discuss faith with their children,” says Hunter. “Using this book, they will be able to stimulate conversation and interest. I added a compendium to help with the content of discussions.”
An excerpt from “Adam John Peter”:
“The sun arose on this morning, just like it always does. The waves lapped upon the shore, as they always do, in a continuum, and a thought that eternity awaits us to be united with God, now and forever. For on this day, freshly minted by the hand of God; Adam John Peter opened his heart to the vast cosmos of God’s eternal love.”
