Veracity Forecasting and Analysis Awarded Aviation Resource Management System Subcontract
Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Veracity Forecasting and Analysis (Veracity) is proud to announce the award of a subcontract by Cowan & Associates, Inc. (C&A) of Arlington, VA for technical and professional services related to the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS). ARMS will facilitate the assessment of funding requirements for aviation readiness by the Chief of Naval Operations, Fleet Readiness Division (OPNAV N43). Under this contract, Veracity will develop the conceptual model, functional requirements, and concept of operations for ARMS.
“We are pleased that C&A selected Veracity to support ARMS for the Fleet Readiness Division. Our staff's experience in requirements development is extensive, and this project is a perfect fit for our team. We look forward to supporting OPNAV N43's development of ARMS,” commented Mike Macedonia, President and CEO of Veracity Forecasting and Analysis.
ARMS is a Business Process Reengineering (BPR) effort. Its goal is to provide a demand forecasting model that effectively redirects resources to maintain naval aviation readiness while reducing enterprise-wide costs. Veracity’s forecasting methodology, comprising the fundamental disciplines of enterprise-wide vision and predictive demand forecasting logic, will provide a foundation for the conceptual formulation of ARMS.
