Veracity’s President Kevin McKinley to make presentation before international audience of gas turbine industry leaders.

Veracity Technology Solutions, an AGC Aerospace and Defense company, steps up its profile among gas turbine operators worldwide as it presents at the NexTurbine 2014 conference in Shanghai, China.

Veracity President Kevin McKinley will deliver a presentation entitled “Mitigating Operational Risks of Catastrophic Failures Through Advanced Inspection Methods.”

Oklahoma-based Veracity Technology Solutions provides nondestructive inspection solutions for the aerospace and power generation industries.

The NexTurbine conference scheduled May 14-16, will feature 30 presentations and 150 senior level participants from gas turbine industry leaders such as Siemens Energy and GE Energy.

“Veracity’s proprietary technology and processes, designed to enhance the probability of detection of defects in gas turbine components, is receiving tremendous international attention,” McKinley highlighted.

The international gas turbine sector is a high growth segment for Veracity. The company services customers in North, Central and South America, as well as the Middle East, and is now expanding its reach into Asia.

Veracity’s proprietary inspection technology includes a 128-element phase array system that produces ultrasonic imaging unparalleled in the industry.

“Veracity’s selection to present at this conference shows there is a need for enhanced inspections beyond what the original equipment manufacturers recommend,” McKinley mentioned.

The conference, billed as “the only place in China to meet ALL GT leaders,” is sponsored by Beijing-based Asia Carbon Energy.

Veracity Technology Solutions develops customized nondestructive inspection solutions for aerospace systems and power generation equipment. Veracity technicians use proven, proprietary technology to check for defects or potential problems – on applications such as wings, rotor blades, landing gear, generators, and both gas and steam turbines. The methodology and technology help customers extend the service life of high-value assets, lower inspection costs, and eliminate hazardous processes.
