Now we’re working together with Mexican artisans to produce the Cantaritos Cocktail Kit so that everyone can get a taste of this incredible cocktail!

Cantaritos de barro cups are traditional small clay cups that are staples of street fairs in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Known by locals as “the best way to drink tequila,” the jarritos de barro mexicanos cups inspired the Mexican Cantaritos cocktail.

Each Verve Culture Cantaritos Kit includes:
Two (2) Cantaritos de barro cups: Cantaritos de barro are traditional clay cups used in street fairs in the Mexican state of Jalisco. They're meant to drink tequila cocktails from, and then are traditionally shattered on the street, allowing the clay to return to the earth. Verve Culture's iteration of the clay cups are glazed to preserve them for additional usage. No shattering on the street necessary!

Mexican Hand Juicer: Take a walk in any market in Mexico and you’ll see artisans making juices everywhere. Expensive electric juicers are fine, but this simple hand juicer is what your friends and family will rave about. The juicers are individually cast in sand, grinded by hand, and then hand-polished to perfection. And because we care about sustainability, each hand juicer is made from 100% recycled aluminum.

Cielito Chili Salt: After rubbing the rim of your Cantaritos cup with fresh citrus, give them a generous upside-down spin in chili salt to create the perfect sweet, salty & spicy rim.

Paper straws: What’s a good cocktail without a straw? Sustainable, paper straws complete the kit.

Designed and handmade by artisans in Mexico, each Verve Culture Cantaritos Kit provides you with all the pieces you need to spice up your home happy hour with the hottest cocktail trend in Mexico.

“On a recent trip to Tlaqueplaque, the Verve Culture team met a brilliant vendor serving incredible spicy tequila & grapefruit cocktails from these elegant clay cups,” said Verve Culture CEO Jules Vertrees. “Now we’re working together with Mexican artisans to produce the Cantaritos Cocktail Kit so that everyone can get a taste of this incredible cocktail!”
