Woodbridge Insurance Services Announces Regional Charity Event to Benefit Surviving Family Members of Fallen Veterans
Woodbridge, VA (PRWEB) May 17, 2017 -- Woodbridge Insurance Services, an asset protection and retirement planning firm headquartered in the Washington DC region, is embarking on a charity drive to raise support for the surviving families of veterans who have been lost in the line of duty.
The Woodbridge team is gathering donations from residents throughout communities in northern Virginia and the surrounding areas to help fund transportation for local veterans’ families to attend the TAPS National Military Survivor Seminar and the Good Grief for Young Survivors workshop taking place over Memorial Day weekend in Washington DC.
“Helping families in our area that have lost loved ones in military service find a way to deal with their grief is an important way our community can repay the services of our fallen veterans,” says Joseph Cotten, owner and principal agent of Woodbridge Insurance Services.
Cotten and his team are working to promote the charity drive to benefit area veteran families by sharing information with like-minded supporters across Virginia and DC over social media and email channels. A soon to be published article discussing the charity event soon to be published in the Woodbridge Insurance Services online community interest magazine is anticipated to draw in even more support for the event: http://www.woodbridgeins.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
Almost half a dozen charitable organizations and nonprofit foundations operating in the greater DC region have enjoyed the support of Cotten and the Woodbridge Insurance team since last summer. As active participants in a nationwide nonprofit support initiative called “Agents of Change,” the team plans to continue promoting the efforts of even more regional charities on a quarterly basis.
