With the 4th of July recently enjoyed, millions of people across the nation celebrated America’s independence. For Realtor, pilot and Air Force Vietnam veteran Spencer Mamber, U.S. Independence Day is just another day to celebrate America’s veterans. He has teamed up with a medically retired U.S. Marine, Chris Griffith, who today, is a mortgage professional, to create the Veterans Helping Veterans program.
“America wouldn’t be America without its veterans. We obviously feel a deep bond with veterans from every generation,” said Spencer. “We owe our veterans a debt, especially those who need assistance. With that in mind, we created Veterans Helping Veterans. Both Chris and myself are veterans from different conflicts, but our mutual experience makes us feel better equipped to recognize fellow vets specific needs.”
These needs include, but are not limited to, housing and acquiring the proper loan. Spencer adds that veterans, regardless of their generation, have commonalities that enables Veterans Helping Veterans to better help, than those who have never served.
Spencer, a Realtor with RE/MAX Southeast who services the Denver, Littleton, Greenwood Village, Castle Rock, Aurora, Centennial, and Highlands Ranch, Colorado areas, has been helping people, veterans and civilians, realize their dream of homeownership for more than a decade. He also spent nearly nine years as an Air Force pilot and is also a part time flight instructor, helping future pilots fulfill their aviation dreams, especially those who dream of flying in the military.
